Sea Fan Cottage is a lovely home less than a 5 minute walk from the beach. This beautiful home has been completely remodeled with all new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and all new furnishings. Nothing was overlooked in the renovation including new flooring in the bedrooms and the addition of cottage style trim throughout. In 2024 a complete upgrade has been done to the main bathroom with a NEW tub, designer tile, NEW vanity and NEW kitchen cabinets with NEW tile backsplash!It features 2 bedrooms a King master suite and the second bedroom has a Queen size bed. Also this home features a bunk room for additional sleeping with 2 twins. 2 full baths with one in the master suite includes oversized seperate shower stall newly remodeled with Marble look tile surround and double sink, and the other full bath has a tub and shower combination. Sea Fan Cottage features a new TV in every room, including the bunk room! The house sleeps 6 and is ideal for a family with children, two adult couples, or those with limited mobility as everything is on one level. The spacious living area was furnished to offer the guests a feeling that they have arrived at their home away from home. No attention to detail has been overlooked.
Sea Fan Cottage is located on the second closest street to the beach in the gated community of Emerald Shores. This is an upscale gated neighborhood that meets the true definition of a quaint beach community. You are only a short walk to the beach and there is even a free shuttle that operates seasonally. The community has a private beach cabana with lounge chairs, picnic tables, and restrooms located right on the beach! In addition, the private pavilion also has a newly opened seasonal bar where you can order your favorite cold drinks! You also will enjoy the 2 pools (one heated), tennis court, shuffle board and a basketball goal!
In addition, there are two restaurants, Kenny D's and Captain Dave’s Seafood, in easy walking distance located at the beach right outside the neighborhood!
The Destin area is known as the Worlds Luckiest Fishing Village! Deep sea fishing is very popular and in fact, Destin boasts the largest charter fishing fleet in the State of Florida! The sugary white beaches and the clear, sometimes Emerald Green waters give true meaning to the word, 'Paradise!' The Destin area is abundant with Restaurants, bars, shopping areas, Golf, and water sports. For kids, Big Kahuna waterpark is not to be missed. Also popular with the kids and highly recommended is taking a Dolphin cruise.

The location of this property is perfect for trips to the beach. We have stayed at this property in the past and it has even been upgraded since our last visit. The wagon provided is great for getting all your stuff to the beach to enjoy the day! The house is big enough to spread out in, but small enough to enjoy everyone’s company. Communication with owners was great and they were more than accommodating when a small issue came up. They quickly came up with a plan to solve the issue and checked in with us to make sure we were all good! Would definitely recommend!

Home is beautiful and conveniently located within walking distance to both the pool and the beach. Family room was perfect for the family to gather and hang out in the evenings. Plenty of space to eat, hang out. Master bathroom and closet are wonderful! Only challenge - my tween didn't care much for her bunk bed room which was very small. Smaller children might be just fine but she was not happy in comparison to her sibling's room! Overall, great property, quiet, clean, comfortable, stylish - relaxing, great vacation home.

Perfect Getaway
Everything about this property was a delight. Owners are the best, excellent communication from start to finish. Location was so private and quiet but central to everything we wanted to do. The house has a hugh wow factor as soon as you walk through the door. Plenty of room for family without feeling cramped. A wonderful experience all around, can't wait to return.

Enjoyable week at Sea Fan
My family of pre-teens and teenagers had a wonderful week at this cottage. It was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal for beach and pool access. We had a wonderful time and would return without hesitation.

Amazing location, house is clean, everything you need is here. Perfect amenities. Many pools to choose from the one at the entrance had nobody there. Communication with owners is perfect! Worth every penny!

A family vacation to remember
We opted for a non-traditional thanksgiving holiday due to Covid this year and found the silver lining at Sea Fan cottage. My daughters are still talking about the amazing week we spent there and how nice the house was. No complaints and would love to rent here again.

Big Fan of "Sea Fan"
Last year our family of 4 stayed here for the first time. We had twin 4 year old boys that loved the house. It was clean, close to the beach, and had everything we needed for the wee. It's a safe neighbor, and Linda was great to work with during the booking process! She answered all of our questions, and was prompt to respond! We look forward to going back!
